The Greene County Impact Award will be presented to Chuck and Carla Offenburger Sunday, June 3, at 3 pm in the rotunda at the Greene County courthouse. The program will include speakers, music and refreshments.
The Offenburgers volunteer in many different groups and projects that promote tourism, economic development, and the small town, rural Iowa way of life. Their nomination for the Impact Award describes them as “tireless volunteers for causes they believe in,” and notes that “They have definitely made a positive difference n many way for both Jefferson and Greene County.”
The public is invited to attend the award presentation and recognize the Offenburgers for their contributions.
